A series of nautical scenes in 1.5 L wine bottles depicting historical and mythical disasters at sea. Ships are carved out of cork and float or sink in real water within the bottles. The ships are held in position by magnets inset into the shelves. Franklin Expedition depicts the fate of the Erebus and the Terror - the two ships of the expedition that became entrapped in ice while searching for the northwest passage.
