Series:  Smoke and Cloud    2006-7

This series is modest in scale and materials: recycled cardboard, a tuft of white upholstery fluff and a small chunk of plywood as a shelf. These wall mounted sculptures portray large events, like the passage of a cloud across the CN Tower, or the effluence of smoke from a factory chimney.  They capture transitory moments in time, transfixing the leakage of energy and the flow of vapour in a static object.
